10. You helped strengthen under-resourced communities.
Our United Business Advisory program strengthens under-resourced communities by helping locally-owned businesses. Because of this work, we were selected as a winner of the Google.org Impact Challenge!

9. You helped us expand our reach to serve more people.
Because of you, we were able to expand our footprint to serve the 7-county metro area, allowing us to serve more individuals and families in need. This year, you helped even more people in Colorado.

8. You helped individuals and families stay in their homes.
Earlier this year, we partnered with the City and County of Denver to launch the Temporary Mortgage Assistance Program in response to the federal government shutdown. Because of your support, people were able to stay in their homes.
7. You helped us expand and open a volunteer center.
This year, we opened the TIAA Volunteer Center with your support. This space allows volunteers and teams to give back to our community. This year, 17,505 individuals and families received socks, toothpaste, and more supplies to meet their basic needs.
6. You served 1,600 people at Project Homeless Connect.
This year, you connected 1,600 individuals experiencing homelessness in our community with critical resources like housing, employment, healthcare, veterans services, childcare, and more.
5. You connected individuals and families with resources.
Last year, 86,460 individuals and families contacted our 2-1-1 Help Center in search of resources. With your support, we were able to connect people to food assistance, shelter, transportation, and so much more.
4. You helped families move toward economic self-sufficiency.
This year, we opened a new Center for Family Opportunity at Florence Crittenton High School. You’re helping families learn about budgeting, how to increase their job-skills, and plan for their future.
3. You gave parents access to early childhood education.
This year, we launched our new United for Families initiative. Because of you, this initiative is helping parents in our community get access to the very best early childhood education for their kids.
2. You helped parents and their children grow and thrive.
Because of you, we created the Bridging the Gap Infant and Toddler Community to provide holistic support to young parents and their children. Bridging the Gap works with young people exiting the child welfare system, giving them tools for a bright future.
1. You inspired women and girls to create community change.
Because of you, women were inspired at this year’s 21st Annual Mile High United Way Women United Luncheon to stand up and help lead the way, and create a path for the girls coming up behind them.
