Education & Literacy
We're investing IN Our FUTURE LEADERS.
Mile High United Way helps students and families build a foundation for academic success by connecting them to education and literacy programming while also holistically addressing families’ needs. When parents are engaged in their children’s education, children earn higher grades, attend school more regularly, and graduate from high school at higher rates.

Enhancing School-Community Partnerships
“Mile High United Way has allowed us to think about systems in our building and how we want to build those out long-term to benefit our kids and our families. We were able to think about some really fast wins for kids and families around the importance of attendance [by thinking about] how we were building parent engagement and how we cast a broader net and meet the needs of our community…It’s been a gamechanger for a lot of kids and our families in a lot of ways.”
Erika Fiorenza, Principal of North Mor Elementary School
