Lockton Companies West Series
Congratulations to Lockton Companies West Series for being named the 2024 Champion of Hope winner. This is the highest honor for corporate community involvement in the workplace. We are grateful for the many ways they engage with our work, including volunteering and raising more than $1.1 million to support our work during their annual community giving campaign!
BMO
We are pleased to honor BMO with the 2024 Spirit of Hope Award, recognizing the company’s new corporate community involvement with Mile High United Way. Last year, BMO supported our community with a $200,000 investment.
We’re also grateful to their support for the Women United Initiative.
KPMG
Congratulations to KPMG for being named the 2024 Social Impact Award, which honors corporate partners who embrace social responsibility as a part of their community engagement and business strategies. This year, KPMG staff volunteered at the Tamara M. Sparks Early Learning Center at Mile High United Way, supported the center’s Book Nook and stayed engaged year-round as members of our Tocqueville Society, Women United and Catalyst Society donor groups.
BOK Financial
It is with great excitement that we announce BOK Financial as the 2024 Partner in Service Award winner. BOK Financial staff demonstrated their commitment to our community, volunteering at the Women United Village, the 50th Annual Mile High United Way Turkey Trot and National Volunteer Week. Thank you for the many ways you show up to support Metro Denver families!
Bonnie Gross
Mile High United Way is pleased to recognize Bonnie Gross of Xcel Energy as the 2024 recipient of the Brian Smith Award for Outstanding Community Leadership. In her role as the manager of social investments, Bonnie develops Xcel Energy’s engagement strategy with Mile High United Way and our partners, prioritizing the company’s values and employees. Bonnie helped facilitate Xcel Energy’s RED Truck at our community events as well as Xcel’s Annual Day of Service. She also represented Xcel Energy at our 50th Annual Turkey Trot.
Gary Community Ventures
This year, we are thrilled to introduce the Gary Community Innovation in Philanthropy Award, which honors a foundation or philanthropic leader working in partnership to create innovative solutions to the challenges facing our community. Gary Community Ventures is a longtime partner to Colorado’s entire nonprofit community, embodying courageous leadership, a drive for systemic change and values-centered philanthropy. We are thrilled to publicly honor them for their incredible partnership in service to Coloradans.
