Our community is coming together to support those impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Join us! Together, we can provide critical resources to our neighbors in need.

Here are the top 10 ways to join Mile High United Way’s COVID-19 Response:

10. Become a 2-1-1 Virtual Volunteer
Join our 2-1-1 Virtual Volunteer Team and get involved in the response from your home. We are currently accepting volunteers to assist our first responders in Metro Denver with accessing childcare, so they can focus on helping our community. Register today!

9. Donate Supplies
Help support the immediate needs of our nonprofit partners by donating much needed supplies, such as health and hygiene items, cleaning supplies, food goods, and more. View a list of supplies currently needed.

8. Donate Items to our Virtual Community Baby Shower
Support our annual Women United Community Baby Shower, which provides diapers and other baby essentials to young families in Metro Denver, so that children get the care they need and families can thrive. Mile High United Way will be collecting items through the month of April and will be delivering to our partners on an ongoing basis. Learn more and see a list of baby items needed.

7. Volunteer Virtually to Support Small Businesses
Our United Business Advisory program works to strengthen under-resourced communities in Metro Denver by supporting small, local businesses. Are you skilled in small business management? 6. Send a Message of Hope
During these uncertain times, we want to show how our community is coming together to support one another. We would love to hear from you! Send a message of hope and encouragement, and we will share it with our network of program participants, nonprofit partners, 2-1-1 staff, and more.

5. Become a Virtual Pen Pal
Send messages of support to a Senior who needs it, because a little extra encouragement goes a long way in brightening a person’s day. Register Now!

4. Give Blood
There is currently an urgent need for blood in our community. If you are healthy and eligible, please make an appointment at a Vitalant donation center or at blood drive near you.

3. Inspire Others to Stay Home
One of the best ways to support our community is to follow the CDC recommendations on social distancing and inspire others to do the same! Post a video or photo on social media that shows how you’re doing your part to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Colorado. Don’t forget to tag @unitedwaydenver and use hashtags #DoingMyPartCO and #LiveUnited.
