Sage Hospitality Gives Back

Sage Hospitality Volunteers at Food Bank of the Rockies

When corporate and nonprofit partners come together to serve their community, good things happen. Mile High United Way is committed to engaging businesses to make an impact in our community through corporate volunteerism. Sage Hospitality recently held their annual leadership conference in Denver and incorporated a volunteer event at Mile High United Way’s partner agency Food Bank of the Rockies.

Close to 130 volunteers, including Sage senior management from around the U.S. and staff from their Denver headquarters, all joined in to help the Food Bank of the Rockies with pulling and distribution of orders, reclamation of grocery food, sorting and packaging frozen food and distribution for the USDA subsidized program.

All their efforts go towards helping Food Bank of the Rockies feed our fellow Coloradans who worry where their next meal will come from. Last year, Food Bank of the Rockies distributed 53.2 million pounds of food, enough to provide more than 121,000 meals each day to children, seniors and families in need.

In addition to their contributions through volunteerism, Sage Hospitality has raised over $60,000 over the past year to support United Ways throughout the country through their Dollars For Dreams Program. Dollars for Dreams is a guest and associate donation program that supports Sage’s commitment to positively impacting the communities in which they live, work and play.

Like through our partnership with Sage Hospitality, Mile High United Way activates community members by connecting your company with organizations in need of volunteers.
