Mile High United Way Awarded BBB Torch Award

Mile High United Way was honored to receive the 2015 Better Business Bureau of Denver/Boulder Torch Award in the large nonprofit category on Nov.5, 2015.

The award is a tribute to those who exemplify an outstanding commitment to fair, honest and ethical practices. Judges analyzed each applicant’s ethical standards and practices, reputation, marketing, advertising, management, and training programs to distinguish those that were most outstanding.

“It is a true honor to receive the Better Business Bureau Torch Award. At Mile High United Way, we know that if we are really going to create opportunities for everyone in our community to thrive, we must act with transparency, excellence and the highest ethical standards in everything we do,” said Christine Benero, President and CEO, Mile High United Way.
