Mile High United Way Awarded 4-Star Rating by Charity Navigator and Accredited Charity by BBB
This month, Mile High United Way earned its second consecutive 4-star rating, the highest possible, from Charity Navigator, an organization which evaluates nonprofits in order to provide donors with essential information and confidence in the charitable decisions they make. This rating was received for demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency, executing our mission in a financially efficient way, and exceeding industry standards in all of the work Mile High United Way does.
To compliment this coveted rating, Mile High United Way has also been named by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) as an Accredited Charity, meeting all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability. Accreditation from the BBB is a highly respected and appreciated accolade for Mile High United Way. In 2015, Mile High United Way was honored to receive the 2015 Better Business Bureau of Denver/Boulder Torch Award in the large nonprofit category last year. The BBB Accreditation and Torch Award are tribute to Mile High United Way’s work in the community, and to those who exemplify an outstanding commitment to fair, honest, and ethical practices, as well as affirmation of Mile High United Way’s transparent approach. We are humbled to be recognized.
