Bridging the Gap Participant Gets a Fresh New Look

With Mile High United Way’s help, Norma Olivas-Domiguez and her newborn baby has a roof over her head, and has applied for the CNA program at Emily Griffith Opportunity School. She would someday like to become a registered nurse. Norma is one of many young adults receiving help through Mile High United Way’s Bridging the Gap program, which supports youth transitioning from the foster care system into adulthood by helping them find housing, providing educational support services, and financial management/asset building.
